Just a look into my daily happenings. This was on Friday. Sunny California, no work, no school, can only mean one thing.... DISNEYLAND DAY! I have an annual pass so i can pretty much go whenever i want. Which doesn't happen often since I'm normally consumed with school work and school, and my job. Since i just finished finals and im on a week long break, which ends Thursday sadly, i made a trip to Disneyland. Hope you guys enjoy. More VLogs to come in the future.

Here it is, first look in my Disney series. I chose to do The Little Mermaid, and this would be my interpretation of the princess herself, Ariel. I know, I know, no red hair, but my whole purpose isn't to look exactly like her, but instead make it my own. ITS INSPIRED! =) So enjoy.

If there's one thing you need to know about me, I am a HUGE fan of anything Disney, from the theme park to the movies and all the characters. I also collect DISNEYLAND and CA Adventure MAPS (i know thats weird right!). In leu of my LOVE for Disney I will be starting a new series on my blog as well as my YOUTUBE channel. I will be making makeup tutorials on my perspective of Disney characters. At first it was only going to be on Disney princesses, but then thought... what if i wanted to do the Genie from Aladdin or villains, I couldn't decide so I'm gonna keep it strictly all DISNEY. Hello there! So this is obviously way over due. I was going to do swatches but my camera charger has gone missing (OH NO!) and it won't even turn on because the battery is completely drained. So for now here a video. I promise as soon as the charger comes up i will post swatches. ENJOY.
So as you guys can see.. new look here on my blog as well as a new title... felt like it was to girly girl and i just didnt have time to edit.. much more editing will continue on through the following weeks, but this is what i could get up for now.. its not much, but it sure was a massive make-over.
Mini Haul just cause i like to buy little trinkets. 3 Items that i did not take individual pictures of would be the falsies (eyelashes), the purple heart nail polish and the love and beauty collection nail filers. I'll do a quick review on them right now. I tried on the falsies and they are pretty dramatic but who doesn't want dramatic eyelashes every now and then. I got them for $2.80 US at Forever21 and i thought they were a good buy. Forever 21 has many different styles to choose from. Moving on the the nail filers from Forever21 also, i got the 3 pack for $1.80 US and they suck! WARNING dont buy them, the packaging can really win you over but they are pretty useless and cant file for sh*t. Thats $2 that could have gone to something more useful believe me. Lastly the $1.00US nail polish i got at Target. It's great for the upcoming Valentines holiday. Just like any glitter nail polish only the hearts are quite big and the brush makes it difficult to pick up the hearts.
Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer in 129 Tiki. Bought this at Wal-Mart for $8 US. Its more on the lighter side for my skin tone so I actually will use this for highlighting purposes. It has a mineral finish and along with the light bronze color it also has champagne veins running through it. I think this will be a good product.
Aero Minerale makeup mist in HONEY. This claims to be a hydrating mineral foundation. I bought it at Wal-Mart for $12 US. Although it's suppose to have an airbrush affect on your face leaving it flawless, it came up short. Instead it sprayed on blobs of foundation on random sprays. as you can see if can become quite cakey if you do not clean up with a cosmetic sponge, which i think defeats the whole purpose of the spray because if i have to go back and absorb the foundation with a sponge i can do that with my regular foundations. This was a total MISS.
Revlon PhotoReady, bought this at Wal-Mart for $11-$12 US. I have heard many positive feedback on this foundation so i figured i would try it out for myself. Since it would be the first time i would be trying it, i couldnt decide which color best suited my skin tone. It was either natural beige or medium beige, i opted for medium beige but i will try natural beige to see if that one is better. So far so good. It has great coverage, and is long lasting. It also feels light on my face, unlike some foundations out there, they leave your face feeling heavy and cakey. I set it with a translucent powder, but even without it, its still good coverage. This is a product you guys might wanna check out.
I got this palette from Forever21's love and beauty collection. The colors caught my eye, so i had to get it. Just like all the other Forever21 palettes that ive gotten, this isnt different. Its pretty true to color, as far as pigmentation goes. On eyeshadow brushes it can be quite powdery and has fallout. I got it for $5.80US. I think this will be my last palette i will purchase at Forever21 for awhile, because i came to a conclusion that i should save my money for better makeup products, instead of buying a lot of cheap ones. IN ADDITION, i was looking at the ingredients that were used to make the eyeshadows, and this palette in particular used Methylparaben and Propylparaben, which if you don't know about parabens they can actually be damaging to your skin and cause skin cancer. Thats why many high end makeup brands now a days emphasize on how their brand/products exclude parabens. Always read the ingredients in the products you use for your face. Skin cancer is no joke and we should take it seriously. [swatch is below]

Went to go eat korean BBQ last night which was super yummy! (nomnomnom) If you guys have never tried korean BBQ like this you should, where you grill the meat yourself and you get all the korean side dishes, you should try it out sometime, try something new if you get the opportunity to do so. Protein overload for sure though.
Went to Target after and picked up some more ELF cosmetics.... i was gonna do a review.. maybe i still will in the future but for now this is what i got. Mostly blushes, eye brow kit, contour kit, concealer, and their quads. So far so good on all the items.
Gotta give this girl some love. She is AMAZING. Not to mention this song is so lovely. Makes you want to fall in love all over again. You know that honeymoon phase. Check her out on youtube.
1.) This quad was from forever 21 it was $4.80 US. As you can see from the swatch down below its pretty pigmented and all the colors that came in the quad actually go together. It more on the dark side so I would say it's more wearable during the night time instead of the day time. The packaging was really adorable it was simple and sleek with a few jewels this one had a silver metallic cover. For $4.80 US I dont think you can really go wrong.
2.) This quad is also from Forever 21 $4.80 US this is the one with the gold covering. I would say the colors are more wearable for an everyday look. It comes in natural colors minus the deep dark green. The colors go great together and they blend quite well. Swatch is below.
3.) This quad is also from Forever 21. It was only $2.80 US how amazing right! The first picture is how the cover looks (great packaging). I know the colors aren't really wearable and isn't for everyone but i thought the colors were really cute. For $2.80 US i couldn't resist, plus they were really pigmented as you can see from the swatch.
4.) Blush by Sephora in Abricot Plaisir, it was $12. It reminds me a lot of Nars Orgasm but a little darker than that. I wanted the Nars Orgasm one but it was $26, i think i'll hold off on that til next time. But this was a great buy for now.. check it out @ your nearest Sephora =) (sorry no swatch my camera wasn't cooperating with this one)
5.) These were all the jewelry accessories i got at Forever 21 I think you can probably get it at a For Love 21 store also (which is Forever21's jewelry store) They were all $1.50 US!! i know amazing right, and it wasnt on sale or clearance or anything, that's their actual price!! Go check them out at a nearest Forever21 near you before they sell out. My favorites are the flower earings and the eiffel tower ones.. How adorb!
6.) Art Deco Nail polish from Dollar Tree only $1.00 US. Its the nail polishes that have the really thin brush so you can make designs on your nails. For a dollar... why the hell not! Swatches are below
7.) Sally Hansen Nail Prism (Left: White diamond, Right: Golden Cinnebar) it came in a 2pack and it was only $1.00 @ the Dollar Tree.. HIP-HIP Hooray! (swatch is below)
8.) Last but surely not least, the nail polishes i got at Forever 21 (love and beauty collection). Each was $2.80 US. I think they are pretty great quality for the price. (Left to right: NP-06 NAVY, MC632 BURGANDY, M814 BLUE)
My only problem with the glitter one with stars is... the brush doesnt pick up the stars easily and it can be quite annoying. I had to use a tooth pick or a cotton swab... major fail.. but still super cute.
