Crown Brush

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a good spring season so far. I recently bought a new brush set and some other brushes and stuff from Crown Brush on Hautelook.com.  I am very satisfied with my purchases. I absolutely love the brushes, the colors it came it were lovely, red and baby pink. The bristles are very soft to the skin and are quite durable. The 10 color blush palette i am also in love with because most of the blushes are wearable and some are a bit too powdery but thats ok. They come in pinks, bronze and brown colors. The bronze colors are great for bronzing and countering.

**Mac Viva Glam Gaga 2

Hello everyone!! how is everyone? i hope everyone had a decent if not great valentines day. I sure did, i spent it with my best friend and we drove all over LA. We even just so happen to find ourselves in Westwood village, which is right next to the UCLA campus. We went there to get ice cream and cookies at this shop called Diddy Riese. It just so happened that there was a movie premier at the FOX theater for Johnny Depp's new movie RANGO... and YES i did see Johnny Depp he was literally a couple of feet away from me. What a hansom fellow he is =) That totally made my Valentine. No to mention I was at the Americana in Glendale and bumped into Justin Chon who was Eric in the movie TWILIGHT. What an eventful Monday i had.

In other news, yesterday (Thursday) was the release of the new viva glam GAGA 2 lippie. I was so excited for it to come out, i went out and purchased it and i must say I am loving it. It is a great nude. It looks a lot better with the lipgloss that came out with it though, so i suggested purchasing that as well if you can. I didnt get a chance to purchase the lipgloss but i may in the future. I also purchased a paint pot from the Cham pale collection in Let Me Pop which i am also in love with. I think i'm going to go back and get Vintage and Gunmetal, assuming they have any left.

Mac paint pot Cham pale collection in Let Me Pop $16.50 USD

Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipstick in Amplified $14.50 USD

**Urban Decay: Naked Palette

I know I posted up a youtube video on a quick review on the Naked Palette previously on this blog, but i wanted to show you guys swatches as well. My camera recently went missing, but i found it and now I am able to take pictures. This is indeed long over due, but better late than never. I will also go a little bit more in depth with my opinion on it.

This is how it comes packaged. Along with the Naked palette it came with a mini UD primer potion.

from left to right: virgin, sin, naked, sidecar, buck and half baked.
My camera and the lighting just doesnt do its justice on the color, but the colors are actually A LOT better in person. Like the half baked is more of a gold shimmer. Virgin, Naked and Buck are more on the matte side while Sin, Sidecar and half baked are more on the shimmer side.

Left to right: Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal. All the eyeshadows are highly pigmented and they apply on so smoothly. I absolutely love this palette because it has a little bit of everything, from the lights and naturals, to the browns and bronze to the more darker shades for a smokey eye look. You can create many looks with just this one palette. If i were to bring just one palette with me, it would be this one. It's just so versatile.

The palette also came with a dual eyeliner. It was the 24/7 glide on pencils. It came in a black called ZERO and a brown called WHISKEY. I love the eyeliners. They really do glide on so smoothly. So it's easy to apply and easy on the waterline and what not. They are more on the soft side, but i dont have to much of a problem with that. They are pretty long lasting. I use the ZERO for tightlining my eyes and I have used both the black and brown for my waterline. I LOVE THEM. I will definitely buy more of these in different colors in the future.

This is just a swatch of the eyeliners. Left is ZERO and right is WHISKEY.

Hope this review and swatch post will help you guys in making your decision on buying this product. I did purchase this myself, and I would definitely recommend this product to you guys. It is a great buy. Although it may be on the pricey side, since i did purchase this on the Sephora website for $48.00 USD, but i thought it was well worth my money.
