Dainty Dishwashing Duties

New influenster voxbox! This one I actually really enjoyed. Full sized bottles of the new Palmolive Fresh Infusion dish washing soap. I loved the packaging, it definitely does not look like your ordinary dish washing soap shape as well as the liquid color of the product itself. It actually reminds me of the kitchen collection at Bath and Body works. Not to mention the scents, the scents are amazing, ALSO reminiscent of the kitchen soap collection for Bath and Body works. I must say, my favorite scent out of the three is Lime and Basil. After washing dishes, the scent is great it also does a good job at being a dish washing soap, does its' job quite nicely, just like any Palmolive product, which are great products. It also left my hands feelings soft and hydrated, unlike some dish washing soaps that leave my hands feeling dry and leaves a "I just washed dishes" scent on my hands. 

Overall I think this new Palmolive product is on the right track. Great new packaging, fresh, new, lovely scents, and overall dish washing approved.

Influenster Summer VOXBOX

Hey everyone! So about 3 weeks ago I received my Influenster Summer Voxbox. Influenster is a free service where the company sends you different brands of products to try out and review the only catch is you have to earn badges, and when you have just enough badges you get an invitation from the company via email to join in the next voxbox review. In order to gain badges you just have to take a couple of surveys and proved whatever information they need that is specific to that certain badge. You can learn more about he program on their website www.influenster.com. I got my summer vox box that included all of the following.

Most of the products that were sent were sample sizes with the exception of the Sally Hansens Magnetics nail polish and the banana nut bread bar. 

 This Hawaiian Tropics product is lovely. It has a coconut scent and its more on the lotion side than it is a sun screen consistency.

 The Clear Shampoo is by far my most favorite product that they sent me. It smells amazing and the sent stays on your hair for quite some time, compared to the other leading brand names out there. The smell is reminiscent of Herbal Essence but is longer lasting. The conditioner leaves my hair softer than most other conditioners that I have tried. I do indeed recommend this product.

 I enjoyed the magnetics product. My only problem with it was the color that they sent. It isn't very "summery" but perhaps it would go great during the winter time. I wish they had a wider range of colors but it does have a pretty cool effect. 

I love most of the products minus the sally hansens nail and cuticle cream, which I did not care much for and I know that if I ever did purchase the full size I would probably not even use it and it would get lost in the mess of other products I have.

Summer Crackle Nails

Daiso Japan

I currently went to this new store called Daiso Japan in Irvine. I was introduced to it while i was in San Fransisco for spring break this past spring. The whole store is $1.50!! What a great price. They have so many cute things along with pretty unique things as well. I managed to grab a bunch of false eyelashes and try them out, since they were only $1.50. There were some that I really liked and some fell short, but for the price they felt right. If you haven't checked out this store I highly suggest you do so. Although I should warn you that you will probably spend more than what you expect to spend since there is so many cute things. There are 3 Daiso Japans located in CA that I know of. One is in Irvine, another in Torrance and lastly in San Fransisco (Japantown)

A day in the life... Friday night

So I don't normally go out and party anymore only because i feel as if i'm always consumed with working and going to school and studying. Of course that hasn't changed at all, and it's actually been a pretty busy term/semester. Yesterday night i decided that i needed to get my mind off the medical madness and go out to LA with my friends, it was fun! I also found out that i'm a light weight now and one drink was all i needed hahaha. Here are some pictures from last night, dont mind my sloppapotamus self it was HOT in that club. **Fashion Fridays: Spring time wedges

Who doesn't love a pair of cute wedges? Its perfect for spring. You can dress them up or down for a casual feel. They are quite comfortable and come in all shapes and sizes. This is a must have in any wardrobe.

Charlotte Russe: $30.00 USD I got these two pairs, the brown and black ones for buy one get one half off. I know right now Charlotte Russe is having a Buy one pair get the second for only $10.00, which is a great buy. These wedges in particular though, i don't think that have anymore because i did buy these a couple of seasons ago. They do however have many selections and probably just as cute as these. They are very light and very comfortable, I can wear these for hours and not feel any pain.

The next two are quite old pairs, so i don't remember where i got them. The polka dots are great for spring. The polka dot ones are slip on so it's very casual. You can dress it up with a solid tan, white or beige dress or with skinny jeans and a flowy top.

These are more sophisticated looking. These are great for a luncheon or a day out shopping. They are very comfortable and can be quite casual.

Ross $15.99 USD. These are very light and comfortable. It's more edgy, with the faux reptile straps and the metal studs. You can definitely dress this up with some black leggings and pair in with a black blazer and ta-da!

JCpenney $39.99-49.99 USD. I actually just bought these babies so they are still available for purchase on the JCpenney website or you can visit your local JCpenney department store. I absolutely LOVE these wedges. They are so light and comfortable and so appropriate for the SPRING SEASON. It has a zipper backing for easy slip on along with flower gossamers on the front for that floral look. You can wear this with pretty spring dresses or you can even dress it up a bit, its your choice!

Express Lipgloss in Watermelon Mist $7.00 USD

This lipgloss isn't as sticky as most lip glosses which is what i like most about it. It's bad enough I don't really like lipgloss because of all the stickyness but this i can bare with. It also smells and tastes just like watermelon.

Mac Viva Glam Cyndi Lipstick $14.50 USD

NYX Round top Lipstick in CIRCE $5.00 USD

Good formula. Its a great nude, for some it may be a bit dark but for my skin tone its just right. The lipstick is kind of moisturizing as well and it smells really good, unlike some lipsticks that have plastic-y smell.

Carmex lip balm in Strawberry $1.00 USD

I like that it stays on longer because it has a bit of a waxy formula. It keeps my lips quite moisturized, more moisturizing than some of the other lip balms i use, like Soft lips and EOS. Great price as well.

Sleekpalette in STORM $10.00 USD

I really like this palette because it has neutrals and dark tones. Its very buildable and you can achieve many looks with this one palette. Reminds me of the Urban Decay Naked palette only its cheaper and the shadows can become a bit powedery/chalky but its not that bad. Its good for the price. Pink Large Duo Fiber Brush by Crown Brush $5.99 USD. 

I really love using this brush for applying on blush. You can use it for a variety of things as well, like applying on foundation or powder, just to name a few, but i prefer using it for blush. The bristles are very soft, and i love the handle, mainly because it's pink. I actually got this on sale on Hautelook.com. Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a good spring season so far. I recently bought a new brush set and some other brushes and stuff from Crown Brush on Hautelook.com.  I am very satisfied with my purchases.
